FREEDOM FROM ADDICTION
A HOLISTIC PATH TO RECOVERY
At GroSpirit, Our approach is holistic and personalised. Each programme is designed case by case, based on the individual’s history, needs, and body constitution. We gently integrate a range of supportive methods, which may include plant medicine ceremonies rooted in traditional practices, nature immersion, Ayurvedic nutrition, talk therapy, yoga therapy, and sound therapy. We understand addiction to be a sign that something deeper needs care, understanding, and support. Many people feel caught in cycles they did not choose and no longer feel able to escape. If this is where you are, know this: there is a way forward.

At the heart of our work is a simple understanding: addiction is not our natural state. We are born into a state of freedom, balance, and connection. As a person is supported to return closer to this natural state—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—the grip of addiction often begins to loosen.

HEAL THE ROOTS, RECLAIM YOUR LIFE
Addiction can take many forms. It may involve substances such as opiates (including fentanyl), barbiturates, prescription painkillers, cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, smoking, or vaping. It can also appear as food addiction, pornography or sex addiction, or other compulsive behaviours. While the substances or behaviours differ, the pattern is often the same. It is a cycle that begins as relief or escape and slowly becomes something that controls daily life.

Plant medicine work, when carefully prepared for and properly integrated, can help interrupt deeply embedded patterns. It may support the resetting of neurological pathways, synapses, and habitual responses toward a pre-addicted state, offering the individual a renewed starting point and the opportunity to approach life with greater clarity, awareness, and choice.
THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT & HEALING TOOLS
Our role is to support this return, helping uncover root causes, stabilise the nervous system, and create realistic, sustainable pathways out of addiction. This work is held with care, respect, and dignity, always meeting the individual where they are, and where they want to be.
If you are reading this and wondering whether change is possible, we want you to know: freedom is possible. It is not something you must become, it is something you return to.
